OTK Rear Axle – Type N Short (Standard – 1000 mm)
Type N Short is the shortened version of OTK’s standard rear axle, offering the same balanced flex as the regular Type N, but with quicker release and more agile chassis behavior. The shorter design allows the rear end to rotate more freely, improving corner exit and overall responsiveness – especially beneficial on high-grip circuits or when the kart feels bound in the rear.

Compatibility: Fits all OTK chassis with Ø50 mm rear axle (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, Gillard, EOS, and others).
Application / Position: Installed in standard OTK 50 mm bearings and hubs. Used when the neutral handling of Type N is desired but with quicker chassis release and sharper rotation – ideal for high-grip or technical circuits.
Material: Made from OTK’s proprietary hardened axle steel, offering the perfect balance between strength, flex, and precision.
Installation / Use: Direct fit to OTK bearing carriers and hubs. No modification required. Regular straightness checks and cleaning recommended after each race.
