Rib protectors

Safety is a very important part of motorsport, and the purpose of the rib protector is to help the driver to withstand heavy impact on the torso without injury. It can be tempting to choose a size for children to grow into, but it is important that the rib protector is not too big, otherwise it will not support correctly.

From January 2022 FIA made it mandatory to wear a combined rib and chest protector in all karting competitions entered on the FIA International Sporting Calendar.
