OTK Rear Axle – Type U Short (Soft – 1000 mm)
The short version of OTK’s proven Type U rear axle, engineered for quicker rear-end release and a livelier chassis response. With the same soft flex characteristics as the standard U axle, U Short delivers strong traction under low to medium-grip conditions while providing faster rotation and a freer rear end. An ideal choice for tight or technical circuits where agility is key.

Compatibility: Fits all OTK chassis using Ø50 mm rear axles (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, Gillard, EOS, and others).
Application / Position: Installed in standard 50 mm bearings and hubs. Used when the same soft flex as Type U is desired but with quicker release and sharper steering response. Especially suited for low-grip or narrow tracks.
Material: Made from OTK’s proprietary high-grade axle steel, combining flexibility and strength for consistent performance.
Installation / Use: Direct fit to OTK bearing carriers. No modification required. Check straightness regularly and clean after use to maintain optimal function.
