OTK Rear Axle – Type H Short (Hard – 1000 mm)
Type H Short is the shorter version of OTK’s hard rear axle, developed for quicker chassis release and a livelier rear end on high-grip tracks. With the same stiffness and flex profile as the standard Type H, it minimizes binding in corners and frees the kart for improved rotation and drive on exit. Perfect for conditions where the track grip is high and the chassis needs to react faster and more predictably.

Compatibility: Fits all OTK chassis with Ø50 mm rear axle (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, Gillard, EOS, and others).
Application / Position: Installed in standard 50 mm OTK bearing carriers and hubs. Used when the same stiffness as Type H is desired, but with faster chassis release and improved rotation – ideal for hot or grippy circuits.
Material: Manufactured from OTK’s proprietary high-grade hardened axle steel, providing excellent rigidity and precise torsional control.
Installation / Use: Direct fit into OTK bearings and hubs – no modification required. Clean and inspect for straightness after each race to maintain performance.
Specifications & features: Short (1000 mm) hard axle with identical stiffness to Type H. Provides quicker rear release, enhanced rotation, and improved balance on high-grip tracks.
