OTK Rear Axle – Type A (Mid-Hard)
Type A is a mid-hard rear axle positioned between Type N and Type H in OTK’s stiffness range. It provides a firmer chassis response and reduced flex, making it ideal for high-grip tracks or warm conditions. This axle helps “free up” the rear of the kart and prevent binding on corner exit, offering greater responsiveness while maintaining control. An excellent option when more rotation and chassis release are desired without sacrificing traction.

Compatibility: Fits all OTK chassis using Ø50 mm rear axle (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, Gillard, EOS, and others).
Application / Position: Installed in standard OTK 50 mm bearing carriers and hubs. Used when the kart feels too stuck or heavy in high-grip conditions and quicker rear rotation is needed.
Material: Manufactured from OTK’s proprietary hardened axle steel alloy, engineered for stiffness, strength, and precise torsional behavior.
Installation / Use: Direct fit to OTK hubs and bearings. No modification required. Clean and check for straightness after sessions to ensure consistent performance.
