OTK Rear Axle – Type U (Soft)
A versatile soft rear axle that provides stable and controllable rear grip in mixed-grip conditions. Type U is OTK’s proven soft-grade axle offering a balanced combination of flex and stability. It allows more chassis movement than the standard N axle, improving traction on corner exit while maintaining smooth, predictable handling. The ideal all-round option for both testing and racing.

Compatibility: Fits all OTK chassis using Ø50 mm rear axles (Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, Gillard, EOS and others).
Application / Position: Mounted as rear axle in 50 mm bearing carriers and hubs. Used to increase rear grip and chassis compliance in variable temperature and track-grip conditions.
Material: Manufactured from OTK’s proprietary high-grade axle steel, engineered for optimal elasticity and controlled torsion.
Installation / Use: Direct fit to standard OTK bearings and hubs. Should be checked for straightness and cleaned after each session for consistent performance.
