Information

The Bumper Saver set is designed as an additional mechanical retention system for the kart's rear bumper, helping keep the bumper in position if the standard mounting hardware becomes loose while driving.

A kart rear bumper is constantly exposed to vibration, movement and contact. If a mounting bolt loosens or one of the bumper supports begins to work its way out of the chassis tube, the bumper can eventually become loose or completely detach.

That is exactly what the Bumper Saver is designed to help prevent.

The black clamps mount around the kart's Ø30 mm chassis tubes, while the shaped retaining arms loop around the upright rear bumper supports. If the normal mounting system fails, the Bumper Saver acts as a secondary restraint and helps prevent the bumper supports from pulling completely out of the chassis.

The system does not replace the kart's standard rear bumper mounting hardware. Instead, it provides an additional level of security that can make the difference between continuing the race and retiring because of a loose rear bumper.

Its compact construction sits close to the chassis and bumper mounting area, keeping the installation neat and unobtrusive.

The kit is supplied complete for both the left and right sides.

A loose bolt shouldn't cost you a race.

Application / Position:
Installed at the rear of the kart between the chassis tubes and the upright rear bumper supports.

The system provides additional mechanical retention if the original rear bumper mounting system becomes loose or damaged.

Installation:
Install the black clamps around the Ø30 mm chassis tubes close to the rear bumper supports.

Attach the shaped retaining arms to the clamps and position them around the upright bumper supports. The arms should be positioned so they do not interfere with the normal rear bumper installation or movement while preventing the supports from completely withdrawing from the chassis tubes.

Install the system on both the left and right sides.

Always check all bolts and fasteners before driving.
