Vortex Cylinder Head Studbolt M8 × 56 mm (VTJ / VTS / VTN / SVR)
Original Vortex studbolt used to clamp the cylinder head to the cylinder, ensuring even clamping force, reliable sealing and correct compression under racing conditions. Size: M8 thread, 56 mm overall length.
Compatibility: Fits Vortex VTJ, VTS, VTN and SVR applications as listed in Vortex cylinder/head spare parts categories.
Application / Position: Installed in the crankcase as a cylinder head stud. Studs maintain alignment and gasket integrity better than bolts through repeated heat cycles.
Installation / Use: Clean threads, apply suitable lubricant where specified, and torque the nuts in a cross pattern to Vortex specifications. Replace any stud showing stretch, corrosion, or thread damage.
