Information

Practical New-Line Racing grip material designed for installation between the engine mount and the kart chassis tubes. The abrasive surface increases friction between the engine mount and chassis, helping keep the engine securely in position during use.

A racing kart engine mount is constantly exposed to vibration, acceleration and chain load. If the engine mount moves along the chassis tubes, chain tension can change. The grip material increases friction at the contact surface and helps achieve a secure installation without unnecessarily overtightening the engine mount clamps.

Each strip measures 255 x 50 mm, providing a large contact area between the engine mount and chassis tubes.

Supplied as a set of 2 pieces.

Compatibility:
Universal application for kart engine mounts positioned directly on the chassis tubes.

Application / Position:
Place the grip material between the engine mount and chassis tubes to increase friction and reduce the possibility of the engine mount moving during use.

Material:
Durable abrasive grip material with a rough surface.

Installation:
Make sure the chassis tubes are clean and free from oil and dirt. Position the grip material on the contact surface between the chassis tubes and engine mount, then install the engine mount on top. Tighten correctly and check chain tension after installation.
