XPS Kart Tec DD2 Gear Oil is the original gearbox lubricant specifically developed for Rotax MAX DD2 engines. Designed to withstand the high loads, temperatures, and RPM levels experienced in DD2 racing, it is the preferred choice for Rotax drivers and teams worldwide.
Using advanced additives and a specially developed formulation, XPS Kart Tec DD2 Gear Oil reduces friction and wear on gears, bearings, and transmission components while maintaining a stable lubricating film under extreme operating conditions. The result is smoother gear shifting, improved gearbox protection, and maximum reliability throughout race weekends.
Developed in cooperation with Rotax and BRP, this oil is recommended for all Rotax MAX DD2 engines. Its heat-resistant formula helps maintain lubrication performance even under high-temperature racing conditions where conventional gearbox oils may lose effectiveness.
For optimum performance and protection, Rotax recommends regular oil changes. The manufacturer recommends replacing the oil approximately every 5 operating hours to ensure maximum gearbox longevity and consistent performance.
