Arai GP-7 FRP is the latest racing helmet from renowned Japanese manufacturer Arai. It succeeds the popular GP-6 series and features an outer shell design akin to the Formula-1-approved Arai SRC models 
 
Safety and Certifications
- Certified to Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859‑2015, the helmet meets rigorous standards required in many motorsport disciplines 
- The shell uses PB‑cLc (Periphery Belted Complex Laminate) construction, delivering a strong, rigid, and lightweight build 

Comfort and Inner Liner
- The one-piece, multi-density EPS liner provides consistent thickness and conforms to both the shell’s smooth contours and the rider’s head shape for comfort and protection
- FCS‑2 cheek pads (Facial Contour System) cradle the cheeks and under the jaw to reduce lift and noise; pads are swap-able for tailored fit
- The interior is fire-retardant and washable, using materials like Nomex and Kevlar

Ventilation
- Features 7 vents: 2 adjustable TDF3 intakes at the front, 3 on the crown, and 2 exhausts at the rear—optimized airflow for head cooling
 
Functional Features and Customization
- VAS (Variable Axis System) visor pivot lowers the pivot point for better coverage while allowing full opening—operation is easy even with racing gloves
- Includes a T20 Torx wrench for visor maintenance
- FHR/HANS-compatible with factory-fitted M6 threaded posts for attaching HANS posts (sold separately)
