Information
IKO Silver Top End Needle Cage designed for installation in the small end of the connecting rod between the connecting rod and piston pin. The needle cage provides precise, low-friction movement around the piston pin, making it especially suitable for high-performance kart engines operating at high RPM.
The silver-plated design is intended for demanding racing applications where high loads, temperatures and engine speeds place significant demands on lubrication and wear resistance. Silver-coated IKO needle cages are used specifically in applications exposed to extreme rotational speeds and loads. 
This version uses the B4 tolerance class. The needle rollers are selected within a range of −2 to −4 µm from their nominal diameter. Compared with B2 at 0 to −2 µm, B4 provides slightly more clearance and can therefore be used to precisely adjust the running clearance between the piston pin, needle cage and connecting rod. 
Compatibility:
Suitable for various 100cc kart engines using a 14 mm piston pin and 18 mm connecting rod small end. Always verify dimensions and required tolerance class before installation.
