Exhaust Spring – Special, 75 mm (Universal)
Durable exhaust spring for securing the pipe to the header and mounting brackets. Reinforced, formed ends provide increased strength and service life under heat and vibration typical of kart racing.
Compatibility: Universal fit for most kart exhaust systems; commonly used to connect pipe/silencer to studs and brackets. Many setups require multiple springs per joint.
Application / Position: Installed between hooks/eyes on the exhaust pipe and the manifold or mounting bracket to keep the assembly tensioned and sealed during operation.
Material: High-fatigue spring steel; "special" formed ends to reduce breakage at the hooks.
Installation / Use: Use a spring puller for safe fitting. Inspect hooks/eyes and replace worn springs to maintain sealing and support.
